Only Windows machines have a mandatory weekly OS reinstall, Nancy ;) Mac users do it just for fun! Besides, I've learned that "solid UNIX base" is just Apple's hype. If I can put an alias of the Trash Can on the desktop, I'll do that and turnoff the taskbar dock. The taskbar dock should be like the Control Strip is now. There is one thing I do like about OS X: the icons Actually, except for the activation procedure, I think Windows XP has the edge on OS X from what I've read.
