Large parts of the Display PDF architecture that underlies Aqua seem to be
Altivec optimised, so unless you run with ugly settings on, a G4 will give X
a noticeable speed boost over an equivalent G3. This is assuming you have
the requisite bucket of RAM to run X at speed in the first place.
