You can put almost any USB, or for that matter, firewire card into your s900. It DOES NOT need to be mac certified. My USB card works fine for my Nomad Jukebox. As I understand it, the standard chips on them are the same from system to system. I must admit that I still like the interface and workings of SoundJam the best. RJS
