Hi Ernie, iTunes will indeed work with OS 8.6 I downloaded and played around with the 8.6 Hacked version. I got it to work on our c600, a 9600 and a 3400 laptop. The version that came with OS 9.1 works fine on those three systems too. Both the c600 and the 9600 have PCI USB cards. The 3400 has no USB at all. I don't know if you can hook something like an iPod up to a PCI USB card and get it to work with iTunes. (Don't have such a device) For burning MP3 music, I have had good results with Toast Titanium.
