I agree with Jeff the XLR8 is the better product, hardware and
software. It is much less picky about odd ball and mixed ram. It can
also be over-clocked .The XLR8 450mhz will likely run at close to
500mhz.My G3 500mhz runs at 550 no problem. It runs faster but that
seems to be the sweet spot. The Sonnet has been made so it is very
difficult to over-clock In many cases the cpu they sell is already
over-clocked by them to reach the stated cpu speed on the box.Sonnet
sells there stuff as simple to setup nothing to adjust ect..Newbies
love the sounds of that. They don't realize that the XLR8 if bought
with a factory cpu and not the 3rd party cpu many people buy also
comes setup to run at standard speeds.Having said all that the Sonnet
is also a fine product and so is the Powerlogix. The Powerlogix is
also easy to over-clock but some of them are a bit picky about older
or mixed ram. It often comes down to the deal you can get on price.
But if you want to over-clock and perhaps have older ram etc XLR8 is
the way to go. IMHO
