The 2930 was introduced, along with the Miles Bluenote, to offer SCSI
connectivity when the USB/Firewire Blue/white G3s were introduced by Apple -
maybe around 1997 ?
It basically has the same specs as the internal SCSI of the old Macs.
I personally wouldn't bother using one of these cards in a machine such as
S900 as it would seem redundant.
You should be able to run a CDRW and an external scanner utilizing the
existing SCSI setup.
