That would be an excellent buy if I wanted it for hard drive storage, but my
main reason for wanting one is to use a CDRW. So the stuttering audio
playback issue is a concern. I too am leaning toward VST because they've
produced firmware and a utility to deal with that very problem. It affects
most IDE cards on pre-G3 Macs, with G3 upgrades and without. Sonnet was
expected to correct the stuttering with firmware, but I've seen no sign of
that.
