I swore I wouldn't put another dime into my S900, but now that it's nicely running X my resolve has weakened. I have replaced the OEM 8x4x24 CDRW in my Apple G4, and would like to put it in the S900, so... Any advice on lower priced ATA/IDE PCI cards would be much appreciated. I've looked at the Sonnet one that Will S. is using, but it's a bit pricey up here in Canada. As well I've seen a fairly inexpensive ($50.00US) VST Ultratek card on the Other World Computing site. Both work well with OS X it seems. Any other things/cards/slot issues to consider?
