Use EDO RAM as the manual states. FPM will work but EDO is preferred, since the 16 MB RAM soldered to the logic board is EDO. Don't base your purchase on price alone but go with a QUALITY vendor. I suggest Crucial. There have been a lot of complaints posted to this board regarding cut-rate RAM from OWC, Velocity, etc., so I stay away from them. If you have the original CD-ROM drive, then you need a third party driver from FWB CD Toolkit or possibly Intech's will work.
