Nancy -

I'm not getting any kind of message.
Same sympton on all machines;
Power up, the standard crunching/whirring sound (normal), but doesn't mount.
Luckily, the two Apple G4 machines I'm testing on also has an EZQuest
external that they share, which points the finger back to my drive.
I'm going to try a couple more times anyway.
EZQuest has been good to deal with so far.
They gave me persmission to open the case without voiding the warranty.
Now they are allowing me to extend the RMA deadline past the 15 days by
simply calling them if needed.
(Haven't resorted to the 3 ft drop - saving that for last.)
I may remove the drive and install it in the S900 to see what happens.
