Hi Jacqueline,

Sorry to hear you've had some frustration with OS X.
You don't mention which video card you are using during your OS X
installations? Also, which disk utility are you using to format your various
hard drives? And what processor is in your S900, a G3/G4 upgrade, or the
original 604e?

Pouring over everything on Ryan Rempels XPostFacto site is very highly
recommended.

Read it all, and then read it again. I remember realizing that some of the
tidbits I had read there, saved me from making a mistake or two when I
installed OS X on my S900. Ryan's site is only hosted by OWC, so writing
them will not be of any help. Better to use this list and Ryan's site to
gather all the info needed for a successful X install. Looking through past
SM List messages would also yield a lot of info, as we've tackled this a lot
in the recent past...
