I truly believe that in order to work for SBC you must have been in the bottom 5% of your graduating class. We have SBC Ameritech (one of the branches that was specifically fined by the state of Illinois for service issues, repeatedly) and dealing with the DSL division is an experiment in patience limits. I have spoken with them 8 times to find out if DSL was in my area, so far it is, at least according to 4 people. The other 4 employees say I don't! I really wish Earthlink or DirectvDSL would get here. Hell, I'd take Billy-Jo-Bob's DSL n'beer service. ;)
