I have upgraded my fathers machine to 9.1 then had to take it back to the original configuration from UMAX.
Can boot from CD and run for hours with no problem, but once the CD is taken out and boot from HD, it will not work over half the time... Just upgraded to 144 megs, and it runs flawlessly with the original configuration, but not with 9.1 Any ideas?? Also installed AOL v. 5 and I could look at AOL & surf the web all day with no problems, but tried to d/l Acrobat reader & QuickTime and it would fail, kicking me offline and reporting type 3 error. AOL support tried to help, but so far has been unsuccessful... Did anyone who is currently running 9.1 have similar problems? Furthermore I can not find a version of QuickTime that supports anything below 8.6... thanks, Alan -- SuperMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
