Luis,

Alan may had hit upon the real source of your problem.

You might try using the "Create a Disk Image" option in Toast, and then 
drag your various system extensions into the Disk Image.  You will, of 
course, need to put a bootable System Folder on the disk too, along with 
a hacked version of the Apple CD driver.

When you get to the "Burn" part, there is a place to check off for "Make 
Bootable"
