>[snip] copies of iMac Software Install disks of OS9.1, ....
Did they present this as installable on a UMAX? I'm skeptical now, though I was planning to buy this bundle tomorrow. In my simple-mindedness I've tried changing my G3-upgraded S900 gestalt ID# to that of an imac (I tried several models) in order to install from a purchased imac OS 9.2 bundle and I got nowhere (yes, I know there would be additional issues in trying to install 9.2). This staement is on the OWC site: "Compatible with ANY Mac with a G3 or G4 Processor, INCLUDING upgraded models." But I do wonder, since you say it's an imac Install disk. --Bruce -- SuperMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
