Alan,

I have not taken the plunge yet to try to get OSX working on our
unsupported 9600 (no hope for the c600) I did pick up a copy of 10.2
but it is still in the box.

When I got the iLamp, and struggled through learning OS 10.1 and getting
various older hardware working, I found the Apple site very useful.
There is an area where you can check hardware compatibility with OSX,
which is especially useful. It is at <http://guide.apple.com/>

You guys talking about the Wacom tablets has gotten me thinking. We
have an older Serial tablet and a newer USB one. The USB one does work
with 10.1.5. Maybe I will see if the Serial one will work with the USB
one's drivers, if I connect it using the Keyspan Serial to USB adapter I
have on the iLamp. The Keyspan adapter works well with the Microtech
Smart Media/Compact Flash reader, and my Palm.

Nancy
