I agree, that 10.2 is a better investment. If you have 9.0.4 already then both 9.1 and 9.2 are just a download away. If you are going to 10.1 you'll probably eventually want to go to 10.2. 10.2 works on our machines, you don't get any upgrade deal on the price of 10.2 if you have earlier versions of 10.1, so why pay twice.
Personally, I'm just waiting for the first round of discounts to happen on Jaguar to purchase it, and might have even made the jump sooner if there wasn't the issue with the older Wacom tablets (non-USB) not being supported in OS 10.2- that hand writing recognition looks way cool but not ready to spring for a new USB tablet just yet (until I can get 10.2 cheaper at least).
