John, Yup...but with some advice from Juris on SCSI set up I have things running fine.
I had to use the "autostart" jumper on one drive and made sure the termination was fine. Now its all working fine. Against my own good judgement I have decided to stick in the ata66 sonnet ide card that was working before with my 36 GB drive. I still haven't had any luck in getting it to show up on the drivesetup app though. It all worked before. I am wondering if I cuda reset then maybe it might show. Not sure on that though. I wonder if I should take everything off the motherboard before I hit the old cuda button. suggestions welcome. By the way I used "os9forever" install app to install 9.2.1 on my s900. It works fine and seems a bit speedier than 9.1, go figure. John are you in Scotland in Morangie? If so...tres cool always wanted to visit that area. glenmorangie scotch's are some of my fave's :) cheers, tim > >Tim >The only idea that springs to mind is something that the wise Mr Walther >once said:- > >The problem with scsi is not that it doesn't work properly >It is that it works when it shouldn't > >John >In the glen of morangie > -- SuperMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
