Thanks, as it now stands, the Mach Speed Control panel shows the cache to be
running at 150 mhz in x and at 149.xxx in 9. The Apple System Profiler says
Level 2 cahce not installed ? Who's fibbing. Is this  thing gonna splode if
I  copy X to a ramdisk on the 9 desktop and try to get Xpostfacto to boot
from it?
