Right on, that's good news. I never asked before, but I'll bet that Sonnet
upgrade is screaming fast in an S900 huh? I wonder, benchmark-wise, where it
falls on the hierarchal machine list. Probably near an Apple G4/733 for many
tests I'd bet.

Ah-ha, good to know, I would've thought slot 2 would work okay too, but
nothing is for sure with all the various upgrades together. Now you need a
video card to compliment your processor. May I suggest an ATI Radeon or
similar.  =)
ATI has a trade-up program that's worth checking out, and there's a PCI card
in that offer, doesn't hurt to see if it's a good deal or not...

If Orangelink supplies an extension set for that card, try disabling all
other FireWire related extensions. You've likely tried that already, but I'm
thinking Apple's FireWire extension(s) isn't playing nice with the
Orangelink one's.

Glad you're close to smooth sailing on that fast S900 of yours.
