I can confirm the problem: PCI 'combo' cards that make use of a bridge chip so the various functions can share the same PCI slot do not function well in any but the first slot, and even there can be rather flakey. OMM, a J700, it's the USB that's unreliable. YMMV. Separate cards for separate functions seems to be the consensus on this list. paul -- Paul F.
