Thanks for all the good tips folks. I should've mentioned that, while there's tons of cheap or even free monitors, space is the problem. It's just easier to stick an S900 under a table or desk somewhere and let it run. I'm in a condo where elbow room isn't too plentiful.
I seemed to recall that past Apple machines (early nineties) couldn't run without a monitor, which is why I wasn't sure if that was still the case in all Macs/Clones. But judging by the replies, an S900 isn't one of those, thankfully. Even if it was, there's some good tips in the "Booting without a monitor" thread for getting around that. Lot's to check out... VNC, Apple Remote Desktop, etc., I've now got some good solid ideas to try out. More question to come though I'm sure, although OS X will make this venture a lot easier I think.
