Your max. bus speed is heavily dependent on your CPU card.  No doubt 
motherboards have bus speed limits too, but in my experience, it's 
the CPU card's capabilities which are the bottleneck on S900s.

Every S900 I've tested will do a little over 61 MHz with an old 
PowerBoost Pro 604e card.  On the other hand, no matter which machine 
I install it in, my ancient G3 220/110 will not run at faster than a 
49 MHz bus speed.  A newer G3 300 I tested happily did 58 MHz.

It's moot with the G4/800 anyway.  You can't adjust the bus speed 
without soldering to replace the oscillator.
