My XLR8 carrier card with G3 300mhz Zif would boot and run as fast as 61.6mhz bus. I upgraded the Ziff to an IBM Copper 10x 500mhz Ziff it will boot and run as fast as 61mhz. I've been running it at 550mhz with a bus of 55mhz for over a year no problems. My thinking after talking to many people is that running it at the bleeding edge of what it will do will shorten it's life and perhaps give me corrupted data from time to time. If we are lucky Powerlogix or someone else will make a real G4 800 or faster that can be played around with. Sorry in advance to those that love their Sonnet upgrades with training wheels. My idea of a Sonnet G4 800mhz is maybe a G4 500mhz big time overclocked with a huge heat sink and about three big fans on it ;-) No thank you. Will S
