Hi All,

I had this problem a couple of years ago with a View Sonic 14' Multiscan
monitor.

The monitor light at the front would go green at start-up, then trip to
amber and would stay black.

It was a bad connection between the monitor connector and the onboard video
out connector.

I had to jiggle the connector and restart several times before it came on
and stayed stable.

Finally I got a UltRes Video Card in the bottom slot and forgot about the
problem.

You need to try the monitor on another machine to find if the monitor
connector or the c500 video out is damaged.

If its the c500 connector you'll have to get a video card.
