Will, All this Region stuff is new to me. Is there a firmware connection? I came across this page that references the RPC-s. There are some refs to RPC-2 and improved writability on similar drives. Both the top and bottom middle articles. The Matshita (Panasonic) LF-D310 is similar to my LF-D211.
