Well I found the App called 'Emergency Unlock' which is now carried by PowerOn, updated just last year and works with OS9. Unfortunately it had no effect nor did it even see the DVD/RAM drive even with a blank formatted disk on the desktop.
I am beginning to believe that the copy protect is either faulty or not depressing properly when a disk is inserted. As for doing the scan after running DW, made no difference. Still freezes system up.
