>Hi there: I have to tell you first that I know absolutely nothing about >these.
You have, what appears to be an Iomega External 100 MB ZIP drive. They can be used just like the old external floppy drives, except 100 MB instead of 1.44 MB or 800 K. The SCSI cable from the back of the drive connects to the computer's SCSI port. You should also have an AC to DC adapter that plugs in on one side. Without it, it wouldn't run. The second SCSI connection on the back of the drive, is so you can plug in another SCSI device, like an external HD. I believe that from MacOS 8.0, the software driver for the drive was included with the install of the system. You can also download IomegaWare from the Iomega site. The disks for the drive are still available from several locations. They usually run from $5.50 to $10 apiece, depending on who you get them from and how many you get at once. If you have any other questions about the drive, feel free to ask me... -- Fred.... [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- SuperMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
