It will be better to use the IomegaWare bundle to reformat your ZIP disks. With the gradual adoption of CD RW Zips aren't as popular as they once were but they do read/write in a manner more similar to a hard drive (i. e. faster). As Fred said, you should have enough software to at least read the drive but you may want to download newer versions from Iomega. Keith
