I don't understand why people persist in using the crappy Iomega software!? Whenever I get a new Zip disk I simply insert the disk in the drive and then from the "Special" menu pulldown in the Finder I select erase disk and let drive setup erase and format the Zip disk as a MacOS volume (I usually use HFS for best compatibility) By doing this the Mac sees the Zip disk as just another hard disk and I can take it with me and use it in ANY Zip drive and I don't have to worry about what version of the Iomega software is loaded or if there even IS any Iomega software!! -- Aloha, Ken .Net, I think, is a way to try to sugarcoat the fact that Microsoft is trying to move its whole business into this pay-as-you-use kind of thing.
