Only thing I can suggest is to look at the PCI cards during bootup attempt to see if any of them have the indicator LEDs stuck lit, which means it's hung up at that card and not allowing the bootup process to progress. On mine it's usually the Initio Miles UW card that controlls my startup drive. I occasionally run into this and the the symptom is a blank white screen with nothing else happening. Sometimes the screen is black. My established solution is to yank out the non-Apple Ultimate Rez card and swap in the 4 mb Twin Turbo (also non-Apple) card that came with the machine and get the machine booted. Then I can shut down and reinstall the UltRez and for reasons unknow I'm good to go for a long period with no problems.
