OK. i've read the archives on firewire and my S900. I've installed the 9.2 firewire extensions but still can't breathe life into my card. I've tried 2 different ones, OWC and Tripp Lite. The Tripp lite is seen but unrecognized. The OWC seemed to work initially but then disappeared. I have my son's 6 gig powerbook HD hooked up in an OWC mercury enclosure. The indicator light glows green to amber but doesn't show up on my desktop. Anyway, I want to try an external power supply but haven't gotten a reply back from OWC.
