UMAX C600 with G3 upgrade; OS9.0; Astra 610S Scanner. I've loaded VueScan and VistaScan 3.75, But in neither case does the program find the scanner even tho the Apple Profiler does. Someone once told me something about a control panel (modem?) where you had to select "remote" instead of "modem" or "printer." However, my modem control panel only lists "modem" and "printer," not "remote," so I have no choice. What am I missing?
