Well, I can try it, don't know if my English is better than Mitch's. Even for me as a German, Mitch is sometimes hard to understand, and if you want to know all the details, I'm the wrong person. Basically, what he did was using a PC for flashing the card with a Mac ROM. I'm not sure which Mac ROM exactly he used, it was slightly modified by a russian guy. This Mac ROM doesn't work, the card will not work in a Mac at this point. But now he was able to use ATI's ROM updater for the 7000 Mac Edition. Although the card did not work yet, the ATI updater recognized it as a 7000 Mac Edition and updated the ROM. And now the ROM is exactly the same as the 7000 ME has, the card has the same features, just 32mb more RAM, for half the prize. That's how I understand it. BTW - Jeff, do you still have the original, two part S900 motherboard scan (without labels)? If so, could you send them to me per email, I'd really be interested in having them.
