I think you should leave the author's names on the articles and that 
there should be a "date last revised" or perhaps even "Original Date 
Written" and "Date Last Revised".   Much of this advice with not 
change with time, but some stuff does, and it's really nice to be 
able to see when an article was written and it doesn't add 
significantly to the hassle.
