I just installed X on my 7500 w/Sonnet G3/400 using xpostfacto. Does
anyone know how to enable non internet related serial communications
thru the modem? My business software (OS9 only , for now) dials the
phone via my modem for me to contact customers, and all that came to a
screeching halt after the install. I've gone back to using 9.1 for now.
It doesn't work in X on a 266 beige G3 either.

Also, after installing a USB mouse driver for X, I had to do a restart.
It failed and the machine had to try booting thru xpostfacto twice
before it would run properly. It also munged a drive. Took me quite a
while before I could even get it to spin up again, much less be
recognized. Has anyone else ever had this sort of trouble with X? After
I got it to boot again in X, Mozilla couldn't find my profile and the
manager wouldn't work.
