Hi list

I want to thank the person who posted the link to "OS 9 Helper". I'm
embarrassed because I don't remember who it was: I trashed the email
before noting who it was. But I did download the app and easily
installed OS 9.2.1 and then 9.2.2 (both free. I've been running
several hours with it and everything that I opened so far works well.
The finder seems a little more snappy-but this might only be
subjective. I am still slowly heading for a Jaguar install. (It's
just the fear of the black screen of death, yipes, and all the
removals to clear it) I recently installed the Mac version Radeon
7000 32Mb video card which seems to be working better too. I remember
earlier posts re 9.2 being very difficult and probably not worth the
trouble to install. Well, that has changed, and I just wanted to make
everyone aware of the ease of the install. I hadn't heard of the
helper before this very recent post. (can the Jaguar install be as
smooth?)

Thank you again for your help.
