I just picked up a G4-800 card for my S900 and this addresses a concern. We
do our serious work in Quark, Photoshop, along with a little in Illustrator,
Internet Explorer and a couple others.

How can I tell which applications "stay mainly in the cache"?

Secondly, I've got 640 MB of RAM. Would it help if I created a RAM Disk to
run any problem (slow) apps in there?

I've been at G3/300/512K for a long time so I expect that the overall
difference will be significant. Just seeing if I can make it a little
better.

Thanks for any help you can offer.
