OS 9.1  Could copy FW extensions from 9.2 if that will help.  Can standard
OS and HDST extensions co-exist well, or do you need to choose and turn
off the others?

So I think its more than bandwidth.  I've reduced RAM  (416 MB) thinking
I might 
have had a bad chip installed, and problem diminished but didn't disappear.

I don't always reset CUDA, but with recent SIIG install did CUDA and zapped
PRAM.  Would like to shift cards around if FW doesn't need a top slot,
but 
thought it had best chance to work there.
