The OS 9.1 extensions should be fine. Did you install any extensions that came with your FW card - if so, that may cause conflicts. Will it work with OS X? Not sure as I've only run it with OS 8.6 - 9.2.2 and have no plans to move to OS X until I pickup a new Mac. My trusty S900 will remain a legacy machine for all the stuff that will only run in OS9. I'm not even sure if VST Technology is still around ... just did a Google search and couldn't find the company site ... just links to products, most of them discontinued.
