I have an S900 system running OS 9.1. I have noted some questions of late regarding the FW/USB pci cards. I have had a Orange Micro FW/USB card in slot F for some time, that has created some problems:
1. Transfering to an external FW drive can cause lockups. System freezes, I do a reboot, and then the external FW drive is corrupted. 2. CApturing from an external Digital CAmera, used to work (i think I had OS8.6) now it just causes the system to lock up. Have treid with FCP, Premiere, and VideoScript. Is this to do with bandwidth of the internal bus? Why did it once work and now not? What FW/USB card is known to work well in an S900? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
