In my business I still use a dot matrix printer for printing post cards as reminder notices. I have an ImageWriter II with an Appletalk card and an EtherPrint for bridging between AppleTalk and Ethernet. My OSX computer doesn't see it on the network. Is there no driver for it in X or is there some other problem? Anyone know? Dot matrix printers are still the best for printing forms that aren't 8.5X11. I'd hate to loose this functionality as I move to X. afriend of mine in the same business does this too.
