3. Can't really speak to that. I haven't used a C-series machine for years, and never at all with a combo Firewire/USB card. What's the exact problem? Is the card not recognized, is it recognized by the OS but hardware connected to it isn't recognized, can you not boot with it installed, or... ? Did you press the CUDA Reset button on the logic board after installing the card?

Oh, and which is the logic board ? (this may be ABC to some of you but I am still at the kindergarten stage).
By the way I run a Umax 160 - 2000 in the UK which I gather is the same as a C500.
