If you already have an XLR8 zif carrier card, I highly
recommend the Powerlogix 900 mhz zif from
macsales.com.  Everyone who uses my S900 after the
recent upgrade is amazed at its finder responsiveness.
 I think having a level 2 cache running at the SAME
speed of the processor makes a big difference, as well
as the increase in raw processor speed.

Aside from having to modify an old PC heatsink
retention clip for the carrier card's heatsink, the
installation process was a breeze. Let me know if you

Thanks George, I'm looking at the list this evening, just caught your response Thank you yes that "retention clip" thing can you explain a little more... The G4/450 I have a fan is mounted on the heat sink as well, did you have to "cool" the chip. Phillip
