In Minnesota we have recyclers. It's not legal to put them in the trash. I don't think they charge for doing a computer, as the scrap prices are good enough they can pay someone to separate the green board from metals and plastic and still make some money, I guess. Monitors and printers will cost $10-20 tho. Bill ... what are you looking to retire? I collect old Macs. I get most of my old ones from these places. Or at least the ones I didn't buy new anyway. 8^) I've got over 30 now, I think. Very few duplicates too, and 3 brands of clones.
