You might find searching Ebay might help you make your decision, the C500's are not going for hardly anything in their base unit form, probably would not go for much more in its upgraded form, there seems to be a several similiar (clone) models out there right now (I am always searching for back-up parts), as I posted in a previous email, picked up a power computing power center 180 with a g3 card, 128 mgs ram, plus software, etc. for $50.00.


As much as I hate to part out these machines, you probably would get more doing that, the G3 card alone could go in the $100.00 or more range. It sounds like though you are attached to this gem, sure there isen't someone you could make it a gift to or it never hurts to have a back-up if it stored well.
