Thanks for the tip Dennis. Unfortunately, it's not a free upgrade in my case
as the original HDST v3.5 came OEM with my FireWire drive ... Intech will
not allow you to download the free upgrade unless you have a serial number
for their retail version.

It does appear that this >might< address the issue I'm having with OS9.2.2
and my drive, in particular:

One of the error messages I get consistently (I think it's in DiskWarrior)
has to do with the partition map not being valid. It's just rather odd that
I didn't have a problem with this for several months while working with the
same systems. I'm not inclined to spend the money on the upgrade unless I
>know< it will solve the problem. Unfortunately they don't have a demo version
of HDST (like they do with CD/DVD Speedtools) so I'm unable to verify if it
will solve the problem - it would be certainly worth the upgrade if it I was
sure that it would work.
