I have to take issue with George N.'s comment on EDO memory. EDO is a 
newer, faster subset of FPM memory. The S900/J700 doesn't need the EDO 
but can use it. The C series machines required EDO memory. Paul C

Definately install any Sonnet software that they
suggest to install.  The fix for OS X may be in the
software.
I can tell you that my S900 is rock solid with an XLR8
zif carrier card (www.xlr8.com) and a Powerlogix 900
mhz G3 zif.
