Hi.
The jumpers on the Zif card only go up to 10 and there are no jumpers on the processor card like on my 500 one. Also the carrier card the 500 G3 is on the jumpers go up to 12. On the carrier card on one area it reads "XLR27 R1.1 then Copyright 1998-2000 XLR8 2000". I bought it from someone on this great list but I can't remember who. They had it in an S900 but moved up to a Sonnet. If I try different jumper settings will it damage the computer?
Thanks Again.
Jacqueline

Hi.
Thanks to all whom replied to my earlier post. I have the jumpers 1,2,4,6,7,8 set to on. Maybe they should be set differently. Would anyone know the proper settings or at least ones that might work? The clip seems to be holding things in place pretty tight.
Thanks Again
Jacqueline

It would seem to be the correct setting for what should be a very safe 50 MHz bus speed for your 300 MHz Zif. What is missing is you don't mention what you are using for the CPU Multiplier setting. These are jumpers 9,10,11,12 the correct setting for 300 Mhz would be 10 on the rest off. A wrong setting could have the Zif running as fast as 600 MHz! Hope this helps , Will S
