No. You just can't go a setting that exceeds the bus speed of the machine.
Some jumpers set bus speed, some set a multiplier ratio. So if you set the
bus speed at the machine speed, say 50 or 66 mhz., then you set the ratio to
8-to-one, your XLR8 CPU will run at 400 or 568mhz. IF it'll go that fast.
